The complexity of problems encountered in today’s world has forced educational institutions to re-envision their mission order successfully prepare a competent and skilled alumna who is able face the future challenges on global scale. To achieve this goal, strategic policy management, which involves different stakeholders other parties, are needed. human resource that each changes, curriculum required meets established standards as well job market demands. In regard, paper addresses implementation competency-based (CBC) Indonesia. introduction explains overview CBC, its aim implementation, relationship between English environment, language syllabus. second part discusses main principles curriculum, theoretical approach relates description some theories learning underpin curriculum. Additionally, factors such context assessment system including innovation also explored. third conclusion identification reports unsolved issues
